About Cryptician
I’m Freddie. By day I’m a data scientist; by night I solve cryptic crosswords, and at some point those two habits collided.
Cryptician is the result: a daily cryptic crossword written by small models I train on real published clues, then checked by code that proves every anagram, hidden word and charade actually works before the puzzle goes out. No clue reaches you unless the machine can show how it resolves. That is the part I care about most: cryptics should be fair, and then they should be witty.
Real grids, real conventions, one puzzle a day, free and without ads. There is a tutorial if you are new, a streak if you are not, and a ranking once you sign in.
